Our science

Evidence, explained — not implied.

Every active we use is evaluated the same way, before it goes anywhere near a formula. Here's what "evidence-based" actually means in practice, not just as a word on a label.

01 — Input

Concentration

The active percentage as manufactured, verified against the batch certificate — not the percentage implied by ingredient order.

02 — Input

Clinical data

Peer-reviewed evidence for that active at that concentration, weighted by sample size and study duration.

03 — Input

Safety profile

Patch-test and irritation data, reviewed alongside practicing dermatologists who treat real patients and clients.

04 — Input

Source audit

Supplier and manufacturing traceability, re-verified every quarter rather than checked once at launch.

Skincare built the way clinical treatment is built — from evidence, not trend.

Most skincare is formulated to a marketing brief: a claim is chosen first, and an ingredient list is assembled to support it. Pure Science works in the other direction. We start from published dermatological research, work with practicing dermatologists to interpret it for real skin conditions, and only then formulate.

Every active we use has a documented mechanism, a working concentration range backed by clinical literature, and a safety profile we re-check on an ongoing basis — not just at launch. Where the evidence is thin, we say so, rather than filling the gap with a claim.
